I run a puzzle of the month competition at school. I put the puzzle on display outside of the maths classrooms but also encourage teachers to show the presentation as a starter in their lessons. Students place their entries into a post box outside of my classroom and a winner is randomly picked out of all the correct entries. I award all entries with housepoints, with extra being awarded if they were correct.
