This is a KS3 Dance Unit of Work which offers a step by step Power Point detailing how to perform a version of the New Zealand ‘Haka’. I have also included a phase 3&4 help sheet as this is the part which students find most difficult. Fantastic resource which has also been used during an enrichment event. Any questions, let me know. :)

This resource is a really engaging HIIT Workout which gives students the opportunity to be their very own Joe Wicks allowing them to design and complete a personalised HIIT Workout. It is based around spelling their name (first/last/both) and completing a specific workout based on that. This could be used as an activity for students to complete if they are self-isolating come September and have a PE lesson to complete. Any questions, just ask :)

Great resource to use when revision topics you have already covered. Please feel free to use, adapt, and leave a review - seems to engage our students really well and can be done in classrooms, or remotely.

Hi!

This is a GCSE PE Revision game based on the classic, Snakes and Ladders! This is perfect for a starter or plenary to check understanding in an active and engaging way. The topic covered is health, social, and wellbeing benefits of physical activity!

Any questions, just ask! :)

Please see attached a Power Point detailing how you could revise the Physical Training topic for the BTEC SPORT Level 1 course using the TV show, Pointless - it’s great fun for the students!

Hi!

I just thought I would share my NPQSL Action Research Project which looked at the impact of Active Learning strategies on KS3 core subject performance. I was awarded 25/28 and scored highly on implementing change, leadership and partnerships.

Any questions just ask! :)

This is a Sports Science Lecture which discusses 5k time trial performance when body weight and oxygen % in the air is manipulated/changed. I managed to evaluate my results and narrate this Power Point during lockdown. The aim was to inspire current year 9 students to choose GCSE PE and deliver an engaging lecture for all students with a particular interest in hypoxia, altitude, or physiological responses to manipulated exercise. This could be used as a research task during a lesson, or set the lecture as a homework to further consolidate learning. If you want any further evidence/results to support your planning then please let me know. Thanks :)

This Power Point is great to display in your KS3 trampolining lessons to share progressions, and show how your students can progress through each landing. Useful when starting to think about routines too! Any feedback, welcomed.
