<p>This week of teaching slides and worksheets on time is maths mastery compatible with a daily section of reasoning and problem solving.</p> <p>The following objectives are covered:<br /> Lesson 1- Tell the time to o’ clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to<br /> Lesson 2- Tell the time to the nearest five minutes<br /> Lesson 3- Tell the time on a digital clock<br /> Lesson 4- Calculate durations of time<br /> Lesson 5- Compare durations of time</p> <p>The lessons include additional fluency resources for children that need extra practice on the taught skill before moving on to considering the reasoning and problem solving.</p> <p>These lessons can also be used at home for children to recap their knowledge of time or learn for the first time. The lessons are clearly set out with directions as to when to attempt questions as well as showing the answers so that children can assess their own work.</p> <p>The activities involved are applicable to real life and there are fun challenges such as making a timetable of the day.</p>

<p>Blue and green editable display bunting.<br /> I have filled out the bunting with lots of names of subjects but have left some blank for you to edit yourself.<br /> Simply print on to card the peg to string to create the bunting.</p>
