I made this PPt. using information from lots of different sources. I thought it would be useful for older students to know about these techniques. It is better to go through the slides and print off the words to read out to the students.

This is for the students to work through identifying Fact and Opinion. Then they can link persuasive writing, planning and speaking.

I found the beginning part of this PPt, and took the topic further - chunking to repeated subtraction to long division. There are some calculations included. There are also some calculations with answers included.

This is a fun game that is sutable for top Key Stage 2 classes and lower Key Stage 3.

You can change the topic. That way you will be able to continue using this PPt forever. The pictures to click have no relationship to the topics, but the children do have favourites.

This is not my original story. I found this story on You Tube. I changed it into a power point presentation and changed the story slightly for English pupils. This fun, story could help children remember place value order. I have added some blank slides for teachers to personalize it for their own needs.

Starting with multiplying 2 by 1 digit numbers, the lesson goes on to multiplying 3 by 1 digit numbers.
