<p>A week of English lessons based on the story ‘Escape from Pompeii’ with high quality resources, word mats, active inspire flipcharts and PDFs.</p> <p>Lesson 1 focuses on reading skills and comprehension questions; lesson 2, 3 and 4 involve children planning and writing a high quality setting description based of Pompeii including a focus on the senses, descriptive techniques and openers; lesson 5 involves children creating high level descriptive sentences to describe a character.</p>

<p>A bundle of RE lessons with resources (a term’s worth) based on prayer for different religions including Hindus, Christians and Muslims. Children will explore how and why different religions pray.</p>
