A PPT and lesson plan that I used during inspection week which went really well! the children got to eat the Skittles at the end if they worked hard enough ;)
There’s also a meme at the end that inspires some good thinking (and the children love!)

Lessons based around the video 'La Luna'.

Fortnightly plan based around La Luna including pre-reading activities, cold writing a diary entry, improvement strategies and writing a final piece.

2 weeks of English planning Y3/4 (inc. differentiation - red BS and LA, orange MA, green HA)

PPT for second week. The video for La Luna can be found on YouTube!

Big Maths PPT that I used at the start of the year in my Year 4/5 class. Covers all aspects of CLIC and easily editable so you can adapt as the children progress.
These PPTs helped my class make huge amounts of progress in their number skills - takes about 15 mins and perfect for group or whole class activities.

This is a PPT that I made to use as a whole class or group activity. It goes through each stage of CLIC - this was my first version and I would adapt it as my class progressed or needed a different focus.
Really useful and using this at the start of my maths lessons improved my class’ maths results massively!
Takes about 10 -15 mins to go through.

4 lessons based upon designing a theme park and calculating costs, including profit and loss. Used with UKS2 as numeracy across the curriculum.
Can be adapted for different themes - design a dinosaur park/football fan zone/play park.
Can also be easily adapted for different abilities.

Literacy mats for each year group from Reception to Year 6. I keep these on my tables at all times for the students to reference. I have the tier above and below for the children to use. They are labelled just with ‘Literacy Mat 2’ meaning Year 2 expectations.

All mats are based on the Pie Corbett progression in writing outcomes.

Colour coded:
Red - Vocabulary and spelling rules
Green - Connectives
Blue - Openers
Yellow - Punctuation/letter formation

I printed these with a HFQ word list on the reverse which I sourced from another seller on TES.

A short example of an information text/character description. For use in correlation with Pie Corbett's Talk for Writing strategy.
I talked/learned the text with the class using actions - we then used it to write a character description of our headteacher and then to write an information text to describe scorpions (unrelated) !
Edit this to suit the abilities of your class.
A basic persuasive speech persuading people that head teachers should pay students for producing good work. (Word doc)
This was for M.A Year 3 and can be easily differentiated up and down!
3 differentiated dartboards (Y3) with questions. Also a 'create your own' blank one for the children to make as a challenge. I gave these as homework after studying them a little during morning activities.
