I have skimmed through all the exam paper series since the qualification was introduced and made a list of 9 key topics that will come up at least once in either the January or May series for Unit 2: Working in Health and Social Care. I have found the most common answers for these topics from the exam mark schemes and compiled them to create a bank of answers. Once these answers are revised, students become familiar with recognising topics in the paper and students can use the answers to plan their question. They should be encouraged to alter the information for the 6 or 8 mark questions where context and linkages back to the scenario are required to obtain higher marks.
