Science Text Drivers & Writing Outcomes

I have developed a Long term, whole school overview of units, from EYFS through to year 6, where each unit has a science based, age-appropriate hook text, with a suggested writing outcome and purpose.

Provides excellent support for teachers, subject leader, english or reading lead. Maps cross-curricular writing outcomes across the whole school for science.

This has taken years of trialling different texts and I am finally happy that it works for a whole school, hence sharing.

6th Half term has a consolidation focus - based on formative assessment. And all text drivers are sustainable, global citizenship, climate awareness focus.
