This is a bundle of lessons (worksheets included) created to teach and develop the skills required for the new GCSE curriculum - specifically Language paper 1. There are worksheets to be printed for the students within the slides. It has been designed to meet the needs of KS3 pupils but can be used for KS4 too. The lessons are scaffolded to teach the students how to approach questions one to four. There are stretch and challenge questions throughout. Some resources have been inspired by other TES users but primarily I have created these lessons to suit the needs of my more able Y8 students.

Macbeth SOW designed for KS3. The aim of this SOW is to bridge the gap between KS3 and KS4 and so the unit encourages students to write detailed GCSE type responses. The lesson is differentiated using BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD. The lesson contains all the worksheets within each slide. Almost each activity slide includes stretch and challenge. The lessons can be adapted for KS4.
