A fun way to end the year! Designed for GCSE and A-level Social Sciences students but can be used with any year group (secondary level) 51 debates to choose from, with a range of current affairs, political, philosophical and ethical topics to explore - a good way to do it is to select a student using a random name generator online; invite them to pick a number from 1-51 - click on the number and it will link straight to your topic! Use the name generator again to pick team leaders (to defend/oppose the motion) and invite them to take turns to pick their team mates. Let the debates begin!

International Women’s Day 2023 has as it’s theme ‘Embracing Equity’ and my assembly is all about how to create equity for women & girls. I have included the following themes: sexism & misogyny, discrimination, the gender pay gap, and representation of women in public life.
