<p>Harry Potter inspired science lessons linking to Year 5 science curriculum - mainly changing state, dissolving, solutions and properties of materials but also including life cycles and gravity.</p> <p>Powerpoint has WALTs linked to targets and enough experiments/written activities to cover 10 or more lessons. I have given scenarios from Harry Potter characters linking to ideas of potions to inspire them with work on dissolving etc. Notes in the bottom section give teaching pointers.</p>

I used this towards the end of Year 3 to provide general revision of the four operations. Could easily be used in other Year groups. Children worked in pairs to go around and answer the questions. I laminated and used outside. Great for creating a buzz and linking to outdoor learning. <br /> It doesn't matter which question the children start on as they go around in a loop.
