Pupils are presented with a practical planning sheet and a jumbled method. Pupils must unjumble the method before being allowed to carry out the practical.
I laminated the investigation mat so the pupils had it as a resource to hand whilst planning an investigation.

A two part GCSE lessons exploring the carbon cycle. The lessons allow pupils to understand what carbon is, how it is recycled and created in the environment and looks at key terms that would have been touched on at KS3. The lessons use group activities, mind mapping, videos and key questioning to understand the carbon cycle. A very interactive lesson that my pupils very much enjoyed!
