<p>An entire SoW to cover two half terms for a first reading of Macbeth (with a focus on power and ambition). Comes with a written SoW, low stakes testing, essay preparation, an initial step- by- step guide on how to attempt a Literature Paper 1 exam and all the resources to go alongside it. This has been edited after a recent Ofsted inspection with a push for “knowledge” and challenge with top tier vocabulary and universal learning. It has also been QA by BW Ofsted inspectors and used within our department to teach high- level lessons with excellent feedback. A lot of time (and love) has gone into this SoW with a desire to make students love Macbeth as much as we do!</p>

<p>A SoW dedicated to the weird and wonderful Miss Havisham! Used to teach to year 8 classes to begin introducing them to Gothic Horror writing and the introduction of an outsider character (later explored at GCSE in Jekyll and Hyde/ Lady Macbeth). The SoW is a dedicated set of lessons for seven weeks of learning with lots of challenge, retrieval and introduction to analysis writing and contextual information. Comes with a homework booklet too for students to do independent work alongside what they are learning in the classroom. Feedback provided from QA meetings with BW Ofsted inspectors, who spoke positively about the lessons and encouraged them to be shared as they are easy to facilitate and tailor for your individual learners.</p>
