<p>‘Adventures in Alaska’ audio with PDF of the text. It has been used with EAL high school students in year 8 to check vocabulary and sequencing events. Students can listen whilst reading to help pronounciation. Can be used as a homework task along with some comprehension questions.</p>

<p>This is a short lesson used to see how much students know about commas and why we have them. This is meant to be a quick introduction or bite size lesson that can be used as a recap or as the start of a punctuation topic. I have used this at college level to teach funtional skills, but it can also be used to teach high school students or high level primary.</p>

<p>‘Bruce and the Spider’ audio using Powerpoint. I used it for online lessons on Teams. This is a recording of the story. It could be great for drawing story maps whilst students listen. It can also be used in TESOL lessons for students to practise listening to a native speaker and sequencing events to check for understanding.</p>
