<p>A simple introduction to percentages.<br /> The PowerPoint goes through different percentages, linking them to fractions and to day-to-day uses (phone battery, sales)<br /> There is a differentiated opening activity asking pupils to colour in a percentage of the shape and convert it to a fraction. You can go over this activity by opening the black hundred square in MS paint and colouring different squares in on an interactive whiteboard.<br /> There is also a worksheet for lower achievers - my middle and higher achievers used a textbook, so there is no worksheet for them.</p>
