I used this powerpoint and handout to tell parents about phonics in our school. Some of the information on the handout has been collected from other people's lovely resources. Hopefully it will be useful to some people.
Continuous provision for the new EYFS framework. Included permanent resources, enhancements, assessment points and ways to further the children's learning.
I used a template made by Hurny on here and have adapted it for my class. I love the 'spontaneous planning&' part where you can document unplanned learning through play.
A worksheet for the children to complete. The sheet asks children to draw a picture of themselves, say their resolutions for inside and outside of school and also write what they are excited about.
I honestly don't know if this will be useful for anyone. I know it seems formal and structured for Reception but this isn&'t just for adult-led activities. This will help me enhance my learning areas for child-initiated play as well. It&';s just my way of making sure I cover the development matters in the term.
As an NQT, I would really appreciate any feedback.
This is just a simple board game which encourages simple addition and subtraction. Children are given a Lego mini-figure. Each time they land on a square, they either add or subtract a Lego brick underneath their figure. Children count their bricks at the end of the game.
These vouchers will be given to parents so that they can write about any WOW! moments that happen at home. These will be displayed next to the child's picture on our WOW! wall.
This was made as a plenary quiz for a year 1/2 class after a lesson on 'counting objects up to 20&' and &';counting in 2s, 5s and 10s'.
The template was made by someone else, but I can&'t remember where I got it.
A smartboard notebook to help teach multiplication as repeated addition. The worksheet shown is from another person on TES and the extension is from Twinkl.
This includes a presentation about where France is and how we can travel there. There children are then taught the French for different modes of transport.
There are also 3 differentiated worksheets.
A simple Smartboard file which I used to show my class the lifecycle of a ladybird. Pictures included from the internet and from Twinkl to demonstrate the worksheet some of them would be using.
