<p>A variety of card sorts based on the card sorts in Nrich. I have changed the contexts to be familiar for our students. I have also reduced the content so they are less over-whelming.</p>

<p>This is a worksheet I made to help my students who were struggling with simultaneous equations. Following their instruction to “start at the beginning”, this worksheet guides students from linear equations to simultaneous equations in 2 variables and finally onto 3 variable simultaneous equations</p>

<p>This activity uses the context of sports stars earnings. It uses numbers up to hundred millions and is a useful authentic context for developing understanding of place value. I printed 4 slides per page when I used it. Answers included.</p>
