<p>This interactive lesson teaches pupils about finance and budgeting through making their own financial decisions.</p> <p>Choosing a job, a house, paying rent and energy bills, and deducting such bills from their monthly paycheck, students will discover whether they make it through the month with money to spare or their choices will lead to debt.</p> <p>The lesson comes with the budgeting game, a worksheet to aid calculations and a separate set of slides to help students better understand what debt is.</p>

<p>The resource allows students to build a to scale time line of the most significant events in the universe’s history.</p> <p>Each slide highlights an event that took place, and states how many centimeters the students need to measure to add the event to their time line.</p> <p>Students should use 2 A4 pieces of paper sellotaped together to draw their time line</p>

<p>This spreadsheet calculates the amount of net income to expect in your monthly pay packet.</p> <p>It will calculate any tax, pension and national insurance contributions to be deduced and give you your monthly take home wage.</p> <p>The calculations are based on legislation available on the 24.9.22 and assumes that the user pays national insurance in band A.</p> <p>Only edit the green cells.</p>

<p>This lesson helps students understand the cell cycle and the role of mitosis within the cycle and takes them step by step through the stages. This lesson culminates in the students having to identify the stages of the cell cycle from real cells at varying stages of the cycle.</p>
