It explains what a verb is, what a subject and object are, what the verb endings tell us, and provides some practice exercises.</p> <p>While Cambridge Latin Course introduces Latin verb endings gradually and contextually, some like myself prefer to introduce pupils to a logical and clear explanation of conjugations and how verbs work.</p> <p>There is a brief introduction to the tenses at the end, which can be taught in a separate lesson if need be. However, early on, pupils sometimes ask what tense the verb they are translating is in.</p>
