Would you rather starter - compare fractions, decimals and percentages (FDP). 2 minute timer for each question at the bottom of the slides. Answers given on final slide. I made this as a starter for my top set year 11 group.

There is a list of average temperatures for each month for different places in the UK. Pupils have to work out the mean temperature for each place then compare their mean values to find out where had the highest temperature (and hence best weather).

Put negative and positive numbers in order on the baubles, work out sequences on the baubles. I've put a plain copy up which you can edit too. :)
