Can be used as an addition and subtraction assessment or simple class worksheet activity. Encourage children to use the number line to self assess their work.

Allows the child to revise the knowledge on numbers 1-10. They fill in the missing numbers on the number line and count the objects and write the number in the box provided. This can be used to assess their number knowledge and number formation.

In EYFS rooms, you may like to include talking about what day it was yesterday, what day it is today and what day it will be, as well as discussing the weather to enhance language development and as part of a daily routine.

This game is to revise phonics knowledge and to help with vocabulary. Children roll a dice and use counters, whichever sound they land on, they must say the sound and give a word which begins with that sound. The same word cannot be used by a different person. The first to the end wins. This will probably work best printed on A3 paper and laminated so it can be reused.

This is a fun way to incorporate addition into active learning. Up to four children can play this game. Print this resource off as A3 and all you need to do is provide the dice and counters.
