The videos are mostly taken from the movie, ‘Titanic’ and are used to help engage pupils.</p> <p>These lessons were designed during the 2020 COVID lockdown and are designed specfcially for supporting key / vulnerable children who are attending school. The lesson should, however, be suitable for an independent research project at home. :)</p> <p>As an NQT, advice and feedback will be MASSIVELY appreciated. :)</p>

<p>This lesson was designed for lockdown lessons during the 2021 COVID pandemic but it should still be useful for in class lessons.</p> <p>The lessons covers the Reichstag Fire and the Enabling Act. The lesson covers up until the creation of the Gestapo and the establishment of Dachau concentration camp.</p> <p>There is a task sheet for pupils to complete based on the information pages. All information pages link to the questions.</p>

<p>Designed as a lesson to support key worker pupils during lockdown.</p> <p>Delivered the same lesson to separate year 7 and year 8 pupils with very different ability levels hence the separate tasks but should aid differentiation.</p> <p>Tasks involve a mixture of pupil research and teacher led learning.</p> <p>Any feedback is always welcome.</p>

<p>Hello,</p> <p>This activity was created as part of the 2021 summer schools scheme. At the time of upload, the lesson had not been taught so it may need some editing and cropping.</p> <p>The lesson involves pupils building up a case against Hitler. In this case, I’ve pitted the teacher (as Hitler!) against the class but you may choose to edit it and place a pupil as the defendant.</p> <p>The lesson should be fairly self explanatory but please do feel free to comment any questions or queries.</p> <p>:)</p>

<p>A worksheet used with an upper set year 7. Pupils complete the table to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the claimants to the throne. Afterwards, I had the pupils assess the ability of every leader on a pie chart.</p>
