<p>I created this poem when I taught Year 5. Our class assembly was based on the topic ‘Victorians’ and children recited verses in groups. Could be used for reading aloud, or as an introduction to Queen Victoria’s life story.</p> <p>Hope you find it useful!</p>

<p>I wrote this poem to be used as part of a Year 6 class assembly, describing Titanic as she struck the iceberg and sank.</p> <p>The children enjoyed adding emphasis and drama to this poem and it gave our assembly a different perspective, rather than simply reading out facts.</p>
