Colourful Semantics Basic Sentence Kit - 225 cards- Who, Doing, What, Where

This kit contains a sample everything you need to support teaching stages 1-4 of the colourful semantics programme created by Alison Bryan. The Colourful Semantics speech and language technique helps learners to construct sentences using a series of colour coded words.

Designed to help children with speech. language and communication needs, it is a great way to scaffold sentence writing for children who struggle with independent writing, reading and spelling. It can also provide vocabulary support for EAL students.

To use the kit, print out and laminate the sentence strips and individual word cards. Children place their chosen cards on the sentence strip to create the sentences they want to share.
