<p>An example diary entry text from the point of view of Harry from <em>Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone</em> plus Feature Find worksheets and answers. This exemplar text is perfect to use as a WAGOLL after reading Chapter 3 of J. K. Rowling’s novel.</p>

<p>Pupils read the model diary entry, examine its features using the Feature Find worksheets and then plan and write their own diary entry from Harry, Dudley, Uncle Vernon or Aunt Petunia’s point of view.</p>
<p>Diary entries could be written about the same day or the day before or after the model text.</p>
