I have always wanted a child-friendly timeline of British history from the Stone Age until the present day but have never been able to find the perfect one so I decided to create one! The Powerpoint is editable so if you have a different opinion about the dates used or want to change the images/add more detail about something specific you are teaching then you can. I find that Stone Age timelines tend to be overcomplicated or include events that are too complex for my Y3 class. I made this to outline the key events so they could easily see what happened in each era of the Stone Age and they loved it! They used it to make their own timelines.
