<p>A simple plenary activity that can be used to access place value knowledge.</p> <p>The children should make the smallest and largest possible numbers using the digit cards. Question 3 and 4 is designed to challenge greater depth children.</p>

<p>This homework gets the children focusing on: partitioning, part whole models and rounding to the nearest 10 and 100.</p>

<p>For this homework activity children will need to find 1, 10 and 100 more and 1, 10 and 100 less than the given number.<br /> To fully complete the homework children will need to have knowledge of greater than and less than symbols.</p>

<p>This short activity will get the children writing numbers using the words as clues. This will teach place value knowledge whilst also helping the children to revise key place value vocabulary.</p>
