This unit covers the process from analysing horror and suspense stories to writing one. It focuses on imagery (senses) and character development.<br /> The pack includes the unit plan with differentiation and EAL support strategies, the main presentation, a worksheet with answer key, useful websites during the writing process, and notes on publishing the students' stories.<br /> The unit plan is based on the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum, but you can use it from Year 6 through Year 11 (as a revision for EFL coursework assignment 2).
