Byzantine empire | Basic concepts
<p>The byzantine empire was one of the most important empires during the median ages. It was the continuation of Rome although it does not look like it because of its Christian culture, art and society.</p>
<p>Constantine, a Roman emperor; moved the capital from Rome to Constantinople because the Eastern part was becoming christians and he did it too, so he choose that ubication and he centered more in that side. Theodosius I, another Roman emperor, divided the territory in two sides because the land was too great to moderate; he took with his son the eastern side; Byzantium. His other son kept ruling the western one.</p>
