The wording(s) for the questions are taken from the exemplar questions available on the AQA website. <br /> <br /> This resource is designed to compliment by scene breakdown, which, alas, is not yet uploaded. <p>So, it’s the day before the exam, you’re on a train ride to London and what do you think: ‘I wish I had 73 practice questions for A Christmas Carol.’ Well, this resource is here to rescue you beleaguered souls from the trepidacious experience of not being able to clobber your students with practice questions.</p> <p>Attached are 73 questions, organised by Stave and page number - the page numbers correspond with the edition <a href="https://www.ibiblio.org/ebooks/Dickens/Carol/Dickens_Carol.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.ibiblio.org/ebooks/Dickens/Carol/Dickens_Carol.pdf</a>. I’ve endeavoured to make the questions as authentic to the AQA model as possible - the wording is taken from the variety of Literature Paper 1 questions found in the Secure Materials.</p> <p>I apologise in advance for the egregious number of spelling errors that are doubtless in here.</p> <p>And to get on a high horse briefly here - but screw it, I’m giving you 73 questions for free - I am not charging for these because for God’s sake, we’re teachers: who hasn’t downloaded a resource last minute off of TES, or hoped to save an hour of their time to spend meaningfully somewhere else. In downloading this resource I hope that you too support this thesis and will promulgate it to its maximum potential.</p>

Suffice it to say, as I am not Carol Ann Duffy or Hannah Betts, I own nothing.

We've all been there: the tentative hours are ekeing away, the exam looms with greater propinquity and still the wee ankle-biters WILL NOT READ THE PLAY. <br /> <br /> Well fear not, because this resource is here to alleviate such issues. Included is every scene within the play, with longer ones broken into stages. For each you will find: the plot, including key quotes; key theme; AO2/AO3/both info. And, free of charge, some lame jokes and pretty pictures. <br /> <br /> In doing so, you will be able to guide your students through the play without having to read the entire thing. Well, that's the plan anyway. <br /> <br /> Lord knows, this was a nocturnal endeavour, so if you find any aspect sketchy, tenuous, or downright febrile, modify it to mollify yourself. <br /> <br /> I sincerely hope this may be of some use to you, even if it just a revision resource.
