After an exciting trip along an underside stream they escape the Glacier on a huge water spout.<br /> Plip and Plop have now joined the sea ready for another adventure.</p>

<p>Having escaped from its icy grip, Plip and Plop join the flow of Icebergs which have also Calved from the Glacier. Plop wonders at the size and colours of the ice. Plip points out the huge scale of these Icebergs under the water and the danger to shipping.<br /> The friends discuss the fact that there are so many of them and that this means the Glacier is becoming smaller very quickly. Plop suggests that the Climate may be warming.<br /> As they approach the ocean, the accompanying icebergs start to shrink.<br /> This book completes Series 1 of the adventures of Plip and Plop.</p>

<p>Plip and Plop travel speedily to the Far North on a high wind. When they slow down they see ahead of them a large bluish-white expanse. They slowly freeze, and turn into six-armed Snowflakes, drifting gently onto what Plip explains is a Glacier.<br /> They are crushed by all their companions settling down on top of them. They feel quite cosy.<br /> The squeeze turns the friends into ice and they become part of the solid frozen Glacier.<br /> Despite being trapped in this huge, bluish block of ice, they do experience a slight forward movement. They wonder what will happen next.</p>

<p>In a small mountain lake, Plop has his first scary encounter with a huge fish. Plip quickly explains that the fish only wanted their ‘sparkle’ (Oxygen).<br /> She clarifies that the fish needs to breathe. By passing through its mouth and gills they donate their ‘sparkle’(Oxygen) which fish need to survive.<br /> The droplets relax in the warm waters and then start to evaporate, rising gently to help form a new cloud.<br /> Off go the friends for another adventure.</p>

Plop starts off as a puddle on the pavement (sidewalk) feeling a bit jaded.<br /> Life picks up when children start splashing in him.<br /> His confidence builds as more rain helps him grow.<br /> When the weather turns warmer, he evaporates and joins lots of water droplets.<br /> They rise higher and form a cloud.<br /> This is the start of Plop travelling around the world and taking part in lots of interesting and exciting adventures.<br /> The Water Cycle has begun and friendship is on the horizon.</p>
