I've taken the list of maths skills listed by the MYP science guide and turned it into a checklist for my students to self assess.

I printed this double sided and laminated. My EAL students would keep it in their folders with a whiteboard pen and would note down any queries that they weren't sure about. I or the LTA would then come and check the board and help with any unknown words once I had finished explaining something or whatever we were doing.

A sheet to go on student's books with their academic target, personal goal for the year, 3 class rules, and school rules. Modify to match your own school.
