Year 6: New national curriculum: Maths- Measures- Converting between metric units of measure (not including converting to imperial), does also include an extension activity of looking at relative weights, lengths and capacities where conversion in needed first. Using an anthology of Oscar Wilde stories (I only looked at 'The Happy Prince' and 'The Nightingale and the Rose'- but others can be incorporated and shared). Includes two Smart notebooks: one for reading tasks and one for the writing task. At the end of each week or PSHE lesson, circle time activities offer a range of talking points within a classroom setting to encourage pupils to share their ideas and develop their skills in listening to others. This smart board contains 25 different activities for you to use with your class.
