<p>A B1 English course for learners of English as a second language.</p> <p>This is a 10 hour course for a class of 5+ students. Ideally taught in the classroom or online.</p> <p>It teaches B1 intermediate English through the topic of towns and countryside according to CEFR international levels.</p> <p>Students enjoy the international focus as well as the opportunity to share their experiences and opinions, take part in group work and present their work to the class.</p> <p><strong>Grammar focus:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Modal verbs: must/ have to,</li> <li>Past Perfect</li> <li>Prepositions of place</li> <li></li> </ul> <p><strong>Each lesson includes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lesson purpose and objectives</li> <li>Step-by-step instructions with activities and tasks</li> <li>Powerpoint presentation to use in the classroom (no internet needed)</li> <li>Native English sound clips to aid English pronounciation</li> </ul> <p>No need for textbooks or to print any materials. Available offline.</p> <p>This course is unique because it has a Sustainability focus of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.</p> <p>The subgoal is:<br /> 15.4 By 2030, ensure the conservation of mountain ecosystems, including their biodiversity, in order to enhance their capacity to provide benefits that are essential for sustainable development</p>
