I used it with Year 7 beginners and they loved it. The activities attached are a Hogwarts Application form, as well as a short reading comprehension.</p>

Starter is in the style of the GCSE writing exam - students have to write four sentences about a photo. There is also a writing activity in the style of the GCSE paper at the end, as well as a model which students could grade themselves, using the AQA markscheme. Took my year 10s a double lesson to complete.</p>
