KS3 geography - What landforms are created by river processes?
Lesson focuses on v-shaped valleys, waterfall, meanders & ox-bow lakes. Creative writing tasks on meanders at the end of the PowerPoint. Worksheet included with diagrams.
Homework reading tasks also included which focuses on the Bradshaw model.
What are my local, national and international connections to the world around me?
Good to use as an introduction to KS3 geography. Tasks encourage students to consider how they are connected to the world around them (locally, nationally & internationally).
Teacher will need to find a local map of the area around to school to add into the PowerPoint.

It includes locational knowledge, the difference between human, physical & environmental geography, geographical skills and a local fieldwork which students can complete from home (or adapted to the classroom/ school if needed).
All the skills & concepts should be taught at KS2.
This could be used during an introduction lesson, as homework or as a summer task. Teacher will be able to see the strengths, weaknesses and areas of focus of students.
