<p>Two lessons looking at globalisation and containerisation. Pitched a middle ability KS3 pupils but could be adpated for high and low ability pupils. There is an opportunity for assessment at the end of the lesson to create a cartoon once pupils have analysed a range of sources to show the effects of globalisation.</p>

<p>Case study that can be adapted for all key stages looking at Typhoon Haiyan. The resource looks at the tropical storms path, the development of the Philippines, effects and responses to the hazard.</p>

<p>Scheme of work that can has the opportunity to have local case studies inputted. Aimed at mid ability KS3 pupils but can be adpated for high ability and low ability pupils. DNA questions can be changed - these are activities that are done in silence at the beginning of each lesson for 5 minutes as part of knowledge recall from previous lessons.</p>
