A lesson that introduces the basics of the structure of the earth, and what is beneath our feet. It includes a task prompt, work sheet and info sheet. This has been created by me for group use. The idea would be to divide the class into groups. Each group would be given a topic enlarged onto an A3 piece of paper. They would also have a blank piece of paper. They need to interpret the information and turn it into a presentation for the rest of the class that lasts about 3 minutes. Whilst a group presents, the others produce a small mind map of the important information. At the end they should create a 'Brand Spanking New Box&' and fill it with a few things that they have learnt.

Here is a ten minute (ish) PowerPoint that focuses on Remembrance It has 'In Flanders Fields' embedded and plays automatically and videos embedded from the most recent poppy appeal. At the end it moves to the 2 minute silence and has the poems being red, followed by the bugles. Have a look with your speakers on, feel free to adapts
