Video led dance, whole unit, resources, teacher guide, games, challenges, routines, activities, inclusive, PE, physical education, staff CPD, confidence building, seated and standing examples, curriculum support.

This is a full scheme of work for KS1&2 dance - everything you need to run a successful unit of Dance in school PE lessons! Every part of the class is video led - there’s warm ups, routines, activities, games & challenges. It also comes with staff tips and ideas for teaching dance and there’s extension ideas for the class activities too (so they can do the video part then extend it if that’s suitable for your class). Students and staff resources are all included in the pack too. The lessons cover 5 key areas: Action, Balance, Space, Dynamics & Creativity. Each block has a folder with the videos (3 parts per block), teacher and student resources & music file for practice time. There’s also a powerpoint for additional teacher guidance including scheme of work overview, suggested learning outcomes, tips for teaching dance and loads more!
The videos are split screen - half standing, half seated so that every child can be full involved in the lessons! So many times, I’ve seen children with disabilities be removed from PE, or children who have fallen over at break and are sitting at the side. This is a perfect way to encourage ALL your students to participate in a way that works for them.
Other staff have said its been a great way for them to develop their confidence teaching dance and students loved the mix of activities and routines. This resource is perfect for supporting staff CPD.

I have a promo video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqC4kzI7yjo

About me: I’m a PE and Dance teacher (primary & secondary) and ex professional dancer. I have taught Dance, as part of the PE curriculum, from ages 4-16. I also worked as a Primary Sports Liaison, where I supported staff CPD in local primary schools to build their confidence teaching PE. I also supported them in curriculum planning to ensure smooth transition from Primary to Secondary. I started dancing when I was 3 and trained in a variety of styles, I worked as Head Dancer for a leading holiday company and then performed in Europe’s number 1 MJ touring tribute show. I have put all my knowledge and skills into one package to make it super easy for teachers to delivery high quality Dance lessons in Primary schools. Working in Primary schools highlighted the need for differentiation in PE to enable children with disabilities to be involved. All the videos have a seated version and a standing version so that EVERY child can be fully involved in PE.

Once purchased, the files will be emailed to you so you can save them to your school drive and reuse them as many times as you wish.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me: flexfitwithbecky@hotmail.com

A piece of cover work I put together for GCSE Dance. This was for a double lesson (2 hours). COuld also work with Year 9 students.
Gives a variety of stimuli and student answer Section A style questions for each stimulus. Encourages them to think of ideas quickly and challenges them to think of various themes, choreographic intents & motifs for each stimulus.
Perfect for student practicing for Section A of the AQA GCSE exam, however, if students have studied Dance at KS3 they may well be able to complete this work competently.
I have also added an extra task that links to Section B and performance skills. I added this as an extension for my Year 10 group, but you could omit this if it doesn’t work for you.
