<p>A sentence builder I used with Year 10 to help them get to grips with the “Customs and Festivals” topic (AQA GCSE Unit 4). Initially the sentences can be used for receptive practice and later in the process for productive work. There is also a “find the French” task to help them familiarise themselves with the new language, and a translation into English which could then be used as a model paragraph for speaking/writing.</p>
