Created this for my Y2 , lower ability children. Follow up to a lesson where they are taught that a quarter is half of a half. They halve the number using objects or the pictures of objects on the sheet. Then they halve the groups again to make 4 equal sized groups.

I have used this with my Y2 children. The first grid is labelled and the second one is for more able children for them to label before finding the co-ordinates. Children use the grid with 15 fruit and vegetables hidden inside and note down the co-ordinates in the table below.

Two activities I made for Y2 children. The analogue to analogue dominoes for the lower ability children to include o'clock, half past and quarter past times. The 2nd activity for my more able children making matching analogue to digital times. The children write a digital time to match the hands they have drawn on the clock. This one to include quarter to times. Once completed the children can cut out the dominoes and play with their own game

Worksheet giving the names of children and the month they were born in. A section for the children to tally how many birthdays in a season. On the second sheet a blank master of a graph to allow children to input tally data.

Children fill in the missing numbers to complete the cross formation sums.
