This 27 page pack has been designed by an Art and Design educator with 25 years of teaching experience for teachers who want to know more about 3D art and sculpture and how to teach it as part of a broad Art and Design curriculum for Secondary/High School students. Sculptural processes can be a wonderful way in to students who are frustrated by the more formal elements of art such as drawing and painting. In fact, with a bit of luck they will gain more confidence in drawing through the act of making. In order to gain the highest results at GCSE and A level Art and Design studies your students need to be able to produce plans and finished pieces in three dimensions as well as two dimensions. This pack has been devised for teachers who wish to know more about 3D processes and how they can be practically and achievable implemented through sculptural drawings, artist references, maquettes, and final pieces. This pack will enable you to improve your students’ grades by tackling A01 (contextual links), AO3 observations, and particularly A02 and A04, the exploration and development of ideas towards a final piece. This pack also includes images of many examples of sculptures and maquettes produced by students in secondary schools in a wide variety of materials.

What do you do with your images once you have your first shoot? This resource describes how you can create a virtual sketchbook double spread to show how to present your ideas in the best way possible. This is a sample of one of the guides in my photography scheme of work pack. These resources are designed for teaching students who have access to a computer but not a good printer. These templates enable the students to quickly and clearly present their work through visuals and annotation, contact sheets and photographer reference, and submit this very easily for assessment. I have two A level groups and two GCSE photography groups and have been using this method very successfully. All work can be printed and put into sketchbooks. It can be amended at any time. It can be used for an online portfolio for assessment and moderation. I have a full series of guides from initial photoshoots, manipulation using various tools, development of ideas, artist research, planning final pieces and presenting final pieces.

So, this is the moment. The time when all of that hard work of research and experimentation needs to be capped off with specific end results. This worksheet shows how to create a virtual presentation of sets of final pieces that can show the many ways that images can be combined before committing to the actual printing stage. A very useful sheet for all students. This is a sample of my photography scheme of work available to purchase as a pack. These resources are designed for teaching students who for whatever reason have access to a computer but not a good printer. These resources are designed for teaching students remotely who have access to a computer but not a good printer. I developed this in response to Lockdown 1 but have now realised how good a teaching tool this really is in a controlled school environment as well as for those home learning due to COVID-19 or illness. These templates enable the students to quickly and clearly present their work through visuals and annotation, contact sheets and photographer reference, and submit this very easily for assessment. I have two A level groups and two GCSE photography groups and have been using this method since Lockdown 1. All work can be printed and put into sketchbooks. It can be amended at any time. It can be used for an online portfolio for assessment and moderation. For those students that do not have access to Photoshop then PHOTOPEA.COM is an online Photoshop emulator that is free to use. AFFINITY photo manipulation is for sale (discounted until May 2021) that is an excellent downloadable app. The original PSD documents that your students create, due to their size, can have final pieces taken from them in full resolution for individual enlargement later. I have a full series of guides from initial photoshoots, manipulation using various tools, development of ideas, artist research, planning final pieces and presenting final pieces. This one is FREE but the others come at a minimal £1 each. All can be printed and displayed large scale due to high resolution. I will add more if there is a demand. Have fun.
