When I taught the GCSE astronomy course I could not find any powerpoints to help deliver the course so I created my own along the way for all chapters 1-16. These took me the best part of a year to complete whilst teaching the chapters. They are more lecture based slides than full lessons with activities etc.

I have recently uploaded multiple worksheets with solutions that can be used alongside the slides in lessons, for revision/homework or topic tests as you wish.

I appreciate the feedback on the resource and will endeavour to keep updating and improving it as I go from now.

This is all 3 sections of the astrophysics option made into powerpoint lessons for delivery in class with Y13 students.

Telescopes

Surveying the stars

Cosmology

These are full lessons for the entirety of the mechanics section

Forces in equilibrium

On the move

Newtons laws

Force and momentum

Energy, work and power

THIS IS THE 2ND SECTION OF THE OPTIONAL ASTRONOMY UNIT FOR AQA A-LEVEL PHYSICS. LESSONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO MATCH THE NOTES PROVIDED ON THE KERBOODLE SYSTEM.

THIS IS THE 2ND CHAPTER IN THE ELECTRICITY SECTION OF THE AS PHYSICS COURSE. C13 IN THE TEXTBOOK. THIS COVERS RESISTORS IN SERIES AND PARALLEL, EMF AND INTERNAL RESISTANCE, AND POTENTIAL DIVIDERS. LESSONS ARE READY TO USE WITH LITTLE TO NO ADAPTING REQUIRED.

This is the first part of the electricity section of AS physics, C12 in the textbook, electric current. These lessons are suitable for teaching with little to no adapting required.

THIS POWERPOINT CONTAINS EVERY SUB TOPIC IN THE C17 AQA A LEVEL PHYSICS CIRCULAR MOTION CHAPTER. THESE CAN BE USED FOR FIRST TEACHING IN THE CLASSROOM.

For every chapter of the AQA GCSE Physics (9-1) course is an individual powerpoint for each sub topic following the AQA textbook; for example P1 energy is broken into P1.1 Work done through P1.9 Power. The lessons follow the course in numerical order. There are questions and answers in every lesson along with some videos embedded and images. You can use these powerpoints as lessons or as revision resources.
