Two Connect 4 games for Year 7 French student, on the school subjects and canteen topics. This is a nice end of the lesson game for the students, where the class is divided in 2 groups (circles or crosses). As in Connect 4, the aim is to have a full line of crosses or circles either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The first group starts from the bottom of the grid and chooses a box to translate in either French or English. If the translation is right a cross is put on the box, and the game passes on to the second group. If they get it right, they put a circle on the box and so on. In the event that one group has made a mistake or cannot translate a box, then the other group has a go, and if correct gets to put a cross. Each group has to try to block the other while trying to connect as many boxes as possible. The first group to connect 5 boxes is the winner.
