Mean average - including problem solving and applying knowledge to different scenarios

(32)
Really super worksheets on mean average that I used recently for an NQT observation and went down really well with SLT.
Students will need some introduction onto what the mean average is first.
I started with the mean average worksheet, and then extended with the problem solving questions worksheet.
Further extension onto average speed allows faster paced students to continue with applying the knowledge while others are working on the rest of the sheet.

Please leave me a review and keep me motivated!
Yours faithfully,
A tired NQT

Multiplying and Dividing with Decimals

A worksheet on multiplying and dividing with decimals.
Used as homework to recap at the end of a unit.
Extension question for faster students.
Worked well with both my slower and faster paced Year 7 students.

Please leave me a review to keep me motivated!
Yours faithfully,
A Tired NQT

Sequences - Generating sequences and Nth term rule

(3)
Two worksheets.
First sheet includes tables for students to generate sequences clearly.
Offers extension questions for faster students.

Second sheet gives a clear, thought out route for students to move from the timestable rules eg 3n, 4n, to the adjustments required for rules such as 4n+3. Worked well with my slow paced Year 8s.
Gives a structured route into identifying the nth term rule.
Also offers extension questions.

Please leave a review to keep me motivated! :)

Angle Rules Worksheet

Comprehensive worksheet on angle rules.
I used this as a diagnostic tool with my fast paced Year 9s to see what they knew before teaching the topic.
Would be great used as a end of unit recap or directed revision.

Please leave a review and let me know what you think!
Yours Faithfully,
A Tired NQT

Percentage of an amount - Calculator and Non-Calculator

I used these worksheets with a fast pace Year 9 class over one lesson, although they could be used with slower paced sets and lower years and introduced more slowly.

One sheet covering calculating the percentage without a calculator, the other worksheet with a calculator.

Please leave me a review and let me know how I am doing!
Yours faithfully,
A Tired NQT

Properties of Integers - Factors, Multiples, Primes and Squares

(1)
Used as a structured homework sheet to encourage literacy and knowledge of key vocabulary.
Based on the Frayer Model - students write their own definition, and give examples and non-examples.
One sheet is standard for more confident students and the other offers some scaffolding to guide them towards the correct answers.
Has worked really well with both of my Year 7 sets, one slower and one faster paced.

Please leave me a review and keep me motivated! :)
Yours faithfully,
A Tired NQT

A little starter or revision aid for Physics, specifically AQA.
I found these types of sheets really helpful with my ASD students who are much happier investigating and looking up the information than they are being lectured.

Please let me know if there are any mistakes or if you would like to see any improvements made.
Properties of Integers - HCF and LCM Worksheets

(1)
Scaffolded worksheets to help weaker students identify HCF and LCM.
I made these myself for a slower Year 7 set who needed the structure to get to the final answer.

Each worksheet took us one lesson with faster students moving onto creating their own questions for each other.
We then spent one lesson with the Functional HCF and LCM Questions.

AQA C1.2 Rocks and Building Materials Question Loop Revision

Question loop for rocks and building materials. Used questions from another source but have sorted it into boxes to make a good cut and stick activity. I've found this particularly useful with ADHD/ASD students who need something hands on and varied. Can be done individually or in pairs/small groups.
Hopefully this will be useful for reinforcing existing knowledge and highlighting any weaknesses.

I have edited the question loop table to remove the one duplication.
It would be excellent if you could leave a review, I am happy to improve it for everyone.
