<p>Used with year 9s as an introduction to Child Development. This unit focuses on the basics of child development readying students for the new Child Development Tech Award 2022.</p> <p>8 lesson PowerPoints that cover the content. Each lesson has been made to be slightly interactive with video clips to support student understanding. Where necessary there are notes in the note section of the presentation.</p> <p>These lessons are all fully adaptable for student’s context so should not just simply be followed unless this would work for your students.</p> <p>There is a planned home learning to accompany patterns of child development. This is in the form of 3 online assessments used in Microsoft Forms. This has currently been left out of the bundle.</p> <p>There is a planned assessment for the end of unit. This is in the form of a Pearson exam paper. I have left it out of this pack due to copyright.</p>

<p>For the new 2022 spec in Health and Social Care.<br /> Component 2 Learning Outcome A Lessons, Assessments and Home learning.</p> <p>8 lesson PowerPoints that cover the content for C2 LOA - <em>Social Care Services</em>. Each lesson has been made to be slightly interactive with video clips to support student understanding. Where necessary there are notes in the note section of the presentation.</p> <p>These lessons are all fully adaptable for student’s context so should not just simply be followed unless this would work for your students. Key information that is likely to be needed for PSA’s has been highlighted in purple.</p> <p>There is a planned home learning to accompany C2 LOA - <em>Social Care Services</em>. This is in the form of a practice PSA. This PSA task has come from Pearsons’s exemplar material for the January 2023 series. It should take between 1 and 2 hours to complete depending on your students ability.</p> <p>The assessments have been purchased via Tutor2U so have not been included in the bundle due to copyright. They are being used at the beginning of the topic as a baseline assessment and again once content has been taught. There is also an element of metacognition as students need to reflect prior to and after assessment.</p>
