Self Assessment, AfL, Smiley Face Posters

(17)
<p>As part of Assessment for Learning many classteachers now encourage the children in their classes to assess their own work - have they achieved the lesson objective? Are they happy with their work, or could they do better? The ’smiley faces’ are for display and help reinforce the need to self assess. At the end of each lesson, the children can stamp (or draw) a face and then add the mouth. A smile, a straight line or a wiggly line (personally I don’t like sad faces).</p>

Simply print onto thin card, cut out and ask the children to complete. The puzzle will last much longer if the pieces are laminated and if using more than one set, it may be better to print each puzzle using different coloured card. ~ Mike :0)</p>
