Worksheets for students to complete while watching the film “Suffragette”. There is a mid-point essay style question for assessment or possible debate/discussion activity. Each set of questions relate to every 10-20 min of the film and this is clearly marked on the sheet so teacher can stop the film at appropriate point to discuss. There are 8 sets of questions, with discussion this could be 4-5 lessons work if you are looking to set cover without much teacher input then can be completed in 3. Perfect resource to avoid just passive watching of the film, I have designed the questions to draw out the human rights issues and historical context.

Produced as introductory lesson for an enrichment day, after this lesson we used True Tube’s Holy Cribs series to explore different places of worship.
