A PowerPoint giving the objectives (year 3), some history on Roman pottery, some pictures of the activity (overlapping vases) and some self assessment questions. I had a display in my classroom of different coloured bottles. This presentation has pictures of things we use angles for in real life, I've tried to inspire boys and girls by mixing occupational pictures. I used my own photo for the thought bubbles as it made it more personal but I've left a clip art one there.

<p>I made this for year 3,but it could be used for year 4 or 2 dependent on ability. One worksheet is for lower ability and one for the rest of the class. There is a picture of an array and the children just need to write the multiplication and division facts that match the image. There are some challenge questions underneath that are missing number equations.</p>

A quick perimeter powerpoint I made to show my class why I was teaching about perimeter (its uses). Also two worksheets that can be adapted with perimeter word problems ( a lower ability and then rest of class one).

I used it for photos of themselves, then they wrote a caption underneath and added thought and speech bubbles to some pics. It could be used for a short comic strip about a character or a short story. It could also be used as a poster.

Just a little resource I put together to see whether the children had met the objectives in this unit. Obviously this can be adapted for higher ability children with more angle and turn questions.

<p>Based around the idea of talk for writing. I get the children to do this on white boards or in the back of their books. They really enjoy it because it’s light and fun and just encourages them to write and think. Initially done for KS1 but could be used in KS2. 5 days</p>

<p>This is a worksheet where the children need to count up the base10 and work out how many are covered up by either drawing them, just counting or using practical base 10 equipment as a visual support. Very good to see if your class have understood place value.</p>
