I made this worksheet to help pupils to give their opinions about drinking alcohol.
This worksheet also consolidates learning of subordinating conjunctions, particularly at the beginning of sentences.
This lesson is designed as part of a scheme about healthy living or as a stand alone lesson for age around 15.

It contains several engaging and detailed activities which build up to the pupils being able to express their own opinions about smoking using long and complex sentence structures.

These were questions to use as prompts for pupils to revise for assessment.
I got pupils to categorise questions to either smoking, alcohol or drugs and then to ask each other the questions
The worksheets and powerpoints were made to accompany texts in the Edexcel for A-Level textbook.
The second text is to help pupils understand the differences between different types of cells which I found was a big difficulty.
I got them to work in groups on different sections and to create summaries for the rest of the class group.
